Reporting to the Cluster Executive Housekeeper, the Assistant Executive Housekeeper, will ensure that all our hotel and all respective entertainment areas and outlets are kept in a clean and orderly condition, to deliver memorable and unique guest experiences - With every single stay.
Your day-to-day
Assists the Cluster Executive Housekeeper with the allocation of tasks and the day to day running of the Housekeeping Department
Manage everyday activities to plan and allocate duties with the housekeeping, public areas, linen room and laundry departments
Plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers according to tasks allocated
Assists in the preparation and review of Weekly Schedules of employees to ensure that all areas are well manned according to occupancy and prepared to receive our guests
Ensures the turndown team attends to urgent requests which may occur on weekends and evenings in a timely manner.
Monitor and follow up on guest reviews and complaints to ensure the cleanliness metrics are always up to standard.
Educating all team members on the importance of remaining compliant with Company Policies and Procedures, brand, health, safety and hygiene standards
Carry out a deep cleaning programme to ensure the optimum hygiene standards in line with IHG Mandatory cleaning guidelines
Handling complaints and special requests to keep every guest happy
Maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment while minimising waste – in support of our green initiatives
Ensuring adequate stock levels of uniforms, linen, amenities and equipment
Ensuring adherence to our brand standards and the 5 ‘S’ of housekeeping
Liaising closely with all operational departments and maintaining an excellent relationship with your teams
